Ingredients
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 lbs. beef round or rump, cut into 2-inch cubes
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon paprika or chili powder
- 1 teaspoon marjoram
- 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
- Water
Instructions
- In a large skillet, sauté onion and butter until translucent. Add meat, but do not brown. Add rest of ingredients, using enough water so meat is half covered. Cover and simmer about 2 hours.
